Repetitive muscle contractions leave expression marks on the face; such as glabellar rhytids, which have caused great discomfort in most patients, mainly affecting their self-esteem. These marks are the result of a compression of the corrugator and procerus facial muscles together, leaving the person’s physiognomy with an angry look. Over the years, these movements result in the breakdown of the dermis, leaving marks on the skin and that aspect of always being angry increases. This work aims to study the relevance and need for new publications on the subincision method in the glabella region associated with the IPRF growth factor. The subincision technique is a procedure that uses a cannula to promote the detachment of the wrinkle and thus, causing a local inflammatory response, associated with the IPRF growth factor to help the formation of fibroblasts and collagen, resulting in the improvement of the appearance of the local wrinkle. This procedure has a smooth postoperative period, with immediate and late results, with more than one application being interesting, with intervals of 30 days, with the possibility of seeing a significant improvement in the region. In this work a literature review will be made on this subject.
