Patient continuously seek appearance and facial proportions improvement, and the choice for this product is precisely because it is a non-definitive procedure with a biodegradable and treatable material in case of complications. The professional who performs this procedure needs to have anatomical knowledge, mastery of the technique and, mainly to know how to intervene when necessary and above all to know how to avoid possible complications. Therefore, the objective of this study was to conduct a brief literature review on the treatment of complications with hyaluronic acid and to report a clinical case. The signs and symptoms of the patient indicative of beginning of necrosis process were analyzed, with the application of 240ui of hyaluronidase, red laser (3j) and infrared laser (4j) and oral drug therapy. A follow-up of the patient’s signs and symptoms was carried out for 10 days, and the treatment result was satisfactory, after 7 days there was tissue improvement and total absence of signs and symptoms.
