The use of extra-alveolar orthodontic mini-screws has made it possible to correct the molar relationship by distalizing the entire arch at once and, when used concomitantly with the self-ligating appliance, simplifies the technique and reduces treatment time, since There is less friction in this type of appliance, there is no need for premolar extractions or change of position of the mini screws, as these are inserted parallel to the roots of the teeth.
