Vol. 1 – Number 4 – 2020 Protocol Page 84 Fontanari® Protocol, an efficient approach for the rejuvenation of the infraorbital region Roberta Fontanari¹ Javier Quilodran² ABSTRACT Plastic surgery has already been on the “wish list” of patients concerned about changes that occurred at the time. With the development of science and technology of new materials, a search for minimally invasive procedures, which rejuvenate, prevent or postpone a surgery suffered if they become the procedures “darlings of the moment”. The new concepts of beauty and attractiveness in search of harmony and naturalness, aimed at the current ones for prevention. The first signs of facial aging usually appear around the eyes. Specialized region of the face, very expressive, where we observed intense muscle activity and less dermal thickness. Infraorbital aging is related to muscle action, sagging skin, loss of bone support and alteration of fat compartments, which, over the years, changes in its contour. The polydioxanone threads associated with the authors are a great treatment option to prevent and treat these changes. The wires are biocompatible and resorbable materials, used with minimally invasive techniques that stimulate neocolagenesis and a controlled subclinical inflammatory response, and autologous, a biomaterial from the patient himself, uncontaminable, that stimulates angiogenesis, neocolagenesis and osteogenesis. The present work reports the case of a patient with 62 years, with important changes in the infraorbital region and a skin with an advanced degree of aging, perceived by the lack of bonuses, elasticity and hydration. One patient was treated according to FONTANARI PROTOCOL ®, with monofilament threads and platelet-rich fibrin in the lower orbital region. The results obtained improve the appearance of the skin with respect to firmness, support and volume after 120 days, leaving the patient satisfied with the natural results.
