Ozone therapy proves to be a great alternative to be used in conjunction with any procedure not only of orofacial harmonization, but also in all dental specialties. Because it is a biomolecule that is already produced by the human body, O3 is extremely well accepted, not generating rejection and allergies for the patient. The beneficial effects unleashed and enhanced by ozone therapy bring to the dental surgeon greater security and success in the procedures. Taking into account that the professional has the duty to provide the best possible and desirable treatment for his patients, the option of adding ozone therapy to each treatment is quite relevant. The ideal is that the surgeon becomes more and more qualified, what will provide him with sufficient security and knowledge to work with mastery in the region where he is legally permitted, thus minimizing the unwanted complications inherent to HOF. Ozone habilitation is a reality in Brazil, and it is available for professionals who choose to work in the orofacial harmonization specialty and that may add it to their day-to-day practice and clinical procedures. The importance of the reactive O3 molecule in the intercurrences of the HOF makes it essential that the good professional studies and knows in depth its benefits, means of action and ozone dosage, so that the ideal contact with the human body occurs and, consequently, the best possible treatment for the patient.
