The contacts with the graduates were made via social network, having participated on the research 104 professionals, that were invited to collaborate voluntarily in the application of the questionnaire about their insertion in the market. The measurement tool was a form developed in Google Forms with 36 questions about demographic characteristics, economic aspects, training, performance, and job satisfaction. The collected data were consolidated through descriptive analysis. The results have shown that most of the graduates were young women between 22 and 24 years old, single and who had entered the market less than three months after the graduation. Most of the professionals had also completed postgraduate studies by identification with specifics areas in Odontology, need for complementation, and need for academic degree. Most of them work in the private sector, working 8 to 10 hours, a day and earn R$ 3,000 to 4,500. Regarding the major difficulties encountered in entering the labor market, the answers showed that the main barriers were a lack of priority for dental care and excessive professionals working as dentists. As conclusion, professionals stated that are satisfied with both their education and practice of Dentistry and have indicated that they would choose this profession again.
