Vol. 3 – Number 9 – 2021 Case report Page 64-71 Improvement of acne scars and wrinkles with trichloroacetic acid peeling and polydioxanone threads – case report Simone Barufaldi De Nadai¹ Kelly Martins² Pedro Carvalho Feitosa³ Abstract The aging process is common and inherent to everyone. Currently, the demand for facial rejuvenation has been very high in dental offices. Dentistry allows us to treat the oral aesthetic function in conjunction with facial treatments, to really lead to true Orofacial Harmonization (HOF). Aesthetic procedures are always related to improving patients’ self-esteem and self-image. The improvement of a scar, for example, or even the reduction of a wrinkle or improvement in the quality and texture of the skin, are procedures that are much sought after in offices to reduce the signs of aging. In this report we present the case of a patient who was dissatisfied with his acne scars and very deep wrinkles, often leading him to avoid the act of smiling.
