In this study two clinical cases were reported, which aims to describe the surgical technique of lip lifting. The incision was the only difference in technique from one patient to another, one that is known as a “gull wing” with normal incision and the other “seagull wing” with an extended incision. In both patients, the treated area improved shape and the result was a shorter lip, there was eversion of the vermilion of the mouth, giving a younger appearance and providing a more beautiful smile by the greater exposure of the incisors and reduction of the horizontal rectification of the lip higher. The complications were minimal, a rapid recovery and minimal scarring were obtained, with a long-term outcome.
