Ceramic protocol performed with zirconia infrastructure has been shown as an alternative, once it presents excellent aesthetics, high flexural strength and biocompatibility. The aim of this study was to report a prosthetic rehabilitation with a ceramic protocol with a zirconia infrastructure, giving back to the patient form, phonetics and esthetics. Patient D.K., 60 years old, male, leucoderm, attended the private dental office with absence of dental elements of the upper arch, except for teeth 25 and 27, rehabilitated with unitary metaloceramic crowns fixed directly on the head of implants performed 20 years ago. Patient was dissatisfied with the appearance of the rehabilitation and bothered not to show the incisal aspect of the teeth when smiling. A treatment plan was developed with the substitution of the individual ceramics, by a single piece, ceramic protocol with zirconia infrastructure, fixed to the implants on intermediate components, minipillars. This treatment approach was proposed in order to compensate for bone resorption and loss of soft tissue in the anterior region of the maxilla, reestablishing the red and white esthetics in this region. Ceramic protocol made with zirconia infrastructure is an interesting alternative for the reestablishment of a vertical dimension of occlusion and the achievement of esthetic and functional requirements.
