Over the years, these consequences generate changes. Since the 80s, DOP threads have been used as absorbable sutures in cataract eye surgery. In recent years, they are also being used also for face lifting, a minimally invasive technique that allows a fast and effective post-procedure, with minimal incisions and minor adverse effects after the procedure. PDO threads are wire biostimulators and, when inserted correctly, result in a mechanical lifting effect. Absorbable PDO threads provide collagen stimulation, unlike all other wires. This paper describes a case report of facial harmonization using polydioxanone threads (PDO) in the glabella region. Female patient, 57 years old, leukoderma, with aesthetic complaint in the glabella region. Upon clinical examination, it is possible to observe the patient shows a vertical sulcus in that region (glabella), which is why PDO harmonization is performed in that area. Twenty-four strands of PDO monofilament (Filbloc) were inserted into the region under local topical anesthesia. The patient reported being satisfied with the result and it was possible to observe the disappearance of the vertical groove that the patient presented.
