Among the anti-aging non-surgical alternatives are polydioxanone absorbable wires (PDO), which gain more and more space by being used in an outpatient setting, with relative technical ease, immediate effect, shorter post-procedure recovery period, longer lasting when compared to other alternatives in the market and high degree of patient satisfaction. The objective of this study was to report the use of this technique for facial rejuvenation through a clinical case, in which the smooth PDO wires were used, to induce the formation of collagen and support the skin, thus causing the desired effect. The procedure was performed and well tolerated by the patient, the clinical result was quite satisfactory, indicating that this technique deserves to be studied more, since the literature on the subject is scarce.
