Technological development in Orthodontics is significant and constant. Orthodontic wire alloys have been created, and are currently featured in the market within a reasonable variety. Actually, orthodontists can select, from all types of wire availability, the one that best fits to the clinical situation. A new alternative of wire used to perform the traditional first stages of orthodontic therapy, alignment and leveling is the Supercable. Associated with self-ligating brackets, they are able to reduce the clinical time of treatment as well as the amount of force used. Thus, the Supercable, which is depicted in the present study through clinical case reports, is another alternative for the orthodontic therapy. Keywords: Friction, Braces, Orthodontics corrective.
