There is a wide range of treatment options for these cases. The diagnosis of discoloration causes, and the patient’s clinical and radiographic conditions are essential for the accurate treatment selection. This study aims to present two clinical cases of teeth discolored due to different circumstances, in which conservative treatment with external and internal tooth whitening in the case of non-vital teeth did not reach the patients’ esthetic satisfaction. Descriptors: Dental esthetics, composite resins, tooth bleaching. ¹ Degree in Dentistry – UFPR, Specialist in Restorative Dentistry – ILAPEO, MSc student in Dentistry – Line of research in Dental Materials – UnB. ² Graduated in Dentistry – UEM, Specialist in Restorative Dentistry – CETAO, MSc and PhD in Restorative Dentistry – UEPG, Professor of the Specialization Course in Dentistry – ILAPEO.
