Bruno Costa Martins de Sá¹ Claudio Ferreira Nóia² Resume Reconstructing the posterior mandible region is always a major challenge. Currently, the proper preparation and release of flaps has been one of the main pillars for the success of grafts in this location. In addition, the choice of a reconstructive technique associated with the graft material is also essential for success. In this sense, we approach in this work a clinical case with defect in thickness in the posterior region of the mandible, whose management involved all these pillars. Descriptors: Sausage technique, mandible, bone graft. ¹ Coord. Specialization in Implantology – SOEP / RO. ² Prof. CBMF Area – FOP / UNICAMP.
