This system presents some distinct components to the superior and inferior arches and works in an articulated way with the dental arches. The AMP is used for the orthodontic, orthopedic and facial profile correction in patients with Angle Class II division 1 malocclusion, with mandibular retrusion and growth potential, as well as midline deviation correction in subdivisions of Angle Class II division 1 malocclusion. It is also applied as a reinforcement for the anchorage on lower teeth mesialization and the correction of moderate Class II malocclusion in adults. Its arched feature results in rounded shapes with no sharp ends, making it comfortable when it is applied. The AMP is easy to adapt, to activated and reactivate. Descriptors: Orthodontics, Angle Class II malocclusion, retrognathism.   1 Specialist and Master in Orthodontics – SLMandic, Professor of the Clinical Course for Specialists – Orthodontics Sakima, Professor of the Specialization Course in Orthodontics – Eap-APCD Regional Araraquara. 2 Master in Radiology, Professor and Coordinator of the Specialization Course in Orthodontics – Esfera Centro de Ensino Odontológico – SP, Minister of the Clinical Course of Orthodontic Mini-implants – Esfera Centro de Ensino Odontológico – SP. 3 Specialist and Master in Orthodontics, Specialist in Implants, Professor of the Specialization Course in Orthodontics – Esfera Centro de Ensino Odontológico – SP. 4 Post-doctorate from the University – Aarhus / Denmark, Coordinator of the Specialization Course in Orthodontics – Eap-APCD Regional Araraquara, Coordinating Professor of the Clinical Course for Specialists – Orthodontics Sakima. 5 Associate Professor of the Master’s Program in Dentistry – University of São Paulo – UNICID, Professor of the Dentistry Course – UENP.
