Such a situation is no different in dentistry, when patients perform domestic procedures to camouflage a dental problem, especially when there is an important commitment to the smile’s aesthetics. The aim of this article is to report a multidisciplinary treatment approach, one in which the orthodontist played a relevant role in correcting the adverse effects of the occlusion caused by the self-intervention of a patient, who used domestic devices to urgently restore her smile aesthetics.
