Vol. 5 – Number 18 – 2024 Case report Page 20-26 Orofacial Treatment – step by step of Contemporary Dentistry Weider Silva¹ ABSTRACT Dental treatments are based on the foundations of predictability and multidisciplinarity, where the importance of facial assessment is increasingly emphasized, regardless of the oral treatment to be carried out. In this context, the specialty of Orofacial Harmonization has become a growing pursuit for dentists in order to meet the needs and desires of contemporary patients. Thus, the multidisciplinary clinical case explained in this article shows the importance of the interrelationship between oral and facial treatments, in the search for maximum results that reconcile functionality and aesthetics, the latter being delimited by the naturalness and balance between teeth and face.
