Radiesse® is an injectable collagen biostimulator based of Calcium Hydroxyapatite, a substance that is absorbable and degraded by the body, used for the prevention and treatment of facial and body sagging. When applied under the skin it naturally stimulates collagen production through a stimulatory action on fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen fibers, resulting in a natural appearance, firmness and elasticity of the skin. As a minimally invasive procedure, Radiesse® works from the inside out, smoothing the signs of aging and improving sagging. The patient is a 50 years old white female with complaints of sagging skin of her face. The application of biostimulator and evaluation at 45 and 60 days were performed in one session and excellent results were observed.
