However, the professional needs to keep in mind that beyond aesthetics, he should be mainly concerned with the maintenance of structural integrity, phonetics, and masticatory function. Currently, the solution to this problem has been given through several restorative techniques with or without the need of orthodontic movement. The possibility of an interdisciplinary approach largely favors the results achieved, providing patients with a pleasant and lasting aesthetic result. This paper describes through a case report, the diastema closure technique between upper central and lateral incisors, besides that the aesthetic remodeling in lateral teeth and upper canines, using composite resin for direct use. The aesthetic result showed the power of minimally invasive restorative techniques and the ability of current composite resin to reproduce with excellent results the optical characteristics of the tooth structure, providing the patient an affordable treatment and of great aesthetic and functional effectiveness.
