These items can be defined as thin porcelain veneers cemented on the dental remnant surface, previously prepared, and may present good longevity, as long as they are well indicated. In order to achieve a satisfactory result, aspects such dental wear, significant dark dental substrates, and the patients’ expectation must be considered, in order to assess treatment options and the prognosis that may be obstructed in cases of parafunctional habits, such as bruxism. The present case report emphasizes the importance of precautions and follow-up in patients with parafunctional habits rehabilitated with ceramic laminates, which is a very common situation in dental offices.
