Within this scenario, an expanded understanding of new technologies is necessary, especially for those who still want to stay in the profession, profiting and generating satisfied customers. Thus, this article offers practical and summarized information about the importance of Information Technology applied to Dentistry, with an emphasis on the concept of “computer graphics” and its demands in relation to hardware, software, data obtaining, processing, networks, and storage.
