Oral diseases can interfere directly in the general health of the individual, while a traumatized dental element can cause physical, functional, aesthetic, and financial damage. In the case of the sportsmen, it is relevant that they protect themselves through the use of individualized mouthguards and maintain oral health so that they can have the best possible performance during their activities. This article aimed to describe the evaluation of dental trauma that occurred during sports practice, through a clinical case report, and the making of a personalized mouthguard.
