As skin ages, the demand for cosmetic rejuvenation procedures has increased throughout, as well as the development of less invasive techniques. Current techniques such as botulinum toxin injection, filling or laser therapy provide symptomatic relief, but without the ability to induce changes at the cellular level. Plaque Rich Fibrin Therapy (IPRF) aims to be a revolutionary treatment, as it enables the induction of cell growth that results in the deceleration and reversal of the aging process. The IPRF is an autologous preparation that contains growth factors and cytokines responsible for bone regeneration and soft tissue maturation. This preparation is made from the patient’s own blood and not only reduces the cost but also the time of regeneration therapy for both the patient and the dentist. Hyperpigmentation of the infraorbital skin popularly known as dark circles and orbicularis wrinkles are the most common aesthetic concerns. This technique has become an accessible alternative compared to techniques that use conventional biostimulators. In this clinical case report, 3 applications of IPRF were made every 20 days, using a 22G cannula in the dark circles region by retroinjection in a 46-year-old female patient. As a result, there was an improvement in the dermal quality and attenuation of fine wrinkles in the area of dark circles.
