There are several ways to solve the correction, depending on each etiology, in addition to the difference in areas of expertise. This study aimed to mention a type of treatment to correct the gingival smile with crown augmentation surgery a patient with altered passive eruption. It was concluded that the surgery brought results, but further studies are important.
