This practical guide was built in two parts: the first one was intended to contribute to the clinical practice of the dental surgeon to identify the forms of disease that affect the peri-implant tissues, forms of diagnosis, and identification of etiological factors/risk indicators. The second part deals with forms of treatment: non-surgical, surgical, including explantation, illustrated with clinical images to facilitate learning.
