Dental cysts are determined as pathological cavities lined with epithelium, capable of containing their fluid or semi-fluid interior material. The aim of this paper is to report an excisional biopsy of an odontogenic diagnosis in the mandible region. Female patient, 50 years old, with injury in the anterior mandible. The computed tomography showed a radiological lesion around the element 34. Under diagnostic hypothesis of root cyst, excisional biopsy was performed. It was concluded that the histopathological exam result was odontogenic glandular cyst. This paper has few reports in the literature and more research to determine forms of differential diagnosis and treatment is necessary.
