Poly-L-lactic acid is a substance that has as one of its purposes the stimulation of collagen production, to improve the skin texture of the region where the product is applied, providing rejuvenation, and restoring the facial contour. This present case report aims to describe the performance and benefits of using PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid). It is one of the pre-packaged injectable fillers approved by the US Food and Drug Administration, being a biocompatible and biodegradable product. The result was extremely satisfactory from a professional and patient point of view, obtaining improved skin elasticity and support.
