Considering the functional, esthetic and psychological problems caused by this tooth absence, the treatment options of the maxillary lateral incisor agenesis vary according to the patient’s clinical condition, the most common being: 1) orthodontics with space closure through canine mesialization; 2) implant; 3) resin-bonded fixed dental prosthesis. The objective of this study was to describe a clinical case of agenesis of the maxillary lateral incisor associated with its contralateral peg-shaped, in which a cantilevered resin-bonded fixed dental prosthesis and composite resin restoration was chosen as a treatment option, achieving a favorable esthetic result and patient satisfaction.
