We at Editora Plena prioritize above all ethics and transparency in our editorial process. Therefore, all the articles received by Full Dentistry in Science are submitted to the following process:

1. All articles have to be submitted at our online system, available at: https://www.gnpapers.com.br/fullscience/

2. The secretary will receive the article and verify if it contains all topics required for submission. If there’s any missing topic, the article will be returned to authors for correction. The article will be sent to review only when all mandatory topics are complete.

3. The editor will select 2 members of the editorial board to review the article. The double-blind system is used. All information about the authors is omitted so the counselors are not influenced in their analysis, and the authors do not have access to the names of the counselor of their article.

If a counselor can’t, for any reason, complete the review, the editor will choose a new member of the editorial board to do it.

4. Once the counselor accepts the invite to do the review, they will have access to the article content and to a questionnaire, where they will be able to make observations and choose if the article will be accepted for publication, denied for publication or if it needs corrections before publication.

5. The article needs to be approved by both counselors for publications. In case of one positive and one negative answer, a third counselor will be consulted.

6. After the article has been approved, it’s sent to language and norms correction, image treatment (when applicable) and magazine layout design.

7. Last, the article is sent to the correspondent author for approval. The author receives a deadline to review and request modifications or to approve the final version of the article for publications. At this time the authors will be informed about which edition the article will be published.

8. The Editorial Director and Scientific Director decide on the articles of each edition. After that, the selected material is put together for color proof. The editorial team revises the entire magazine to make sure everything is according to norms and within the magazine layout. Once it’s done the magazine is sent for printing.
