Dental resorptions are local and acquired changes that generally do not have a very good prognosis, and it is often necessary to replace this resorbed element by implant and prosthesis. The placement of an immediate implant after dental extraction preserves bone height and thickness, reduces treatment time and cost, in addition, maintains the gingival architecture, which is of paramount importance for the aesthetic success of future prosthetic rehabilitation. The aim of this case report was to evaluate low laser therapy protocol and discuss its effect in the transoperative surgery of implant dentistry in a patient who presented central incisor resorption. The patient searched dental care complaining of suppuration in the upper central incisor, an element with resorption was identified. The established treatment was replacement with immediate implant and application of laser therapy as an aid to treatment. The result is favorable, but the most important thing is that the dental surgeon knows his patient and the techniques to be used in conjunction with the device so that he can establish an exclusive protocol for the patient and according to what the case requires.
